Ubuntu 12.04 neu installiert, 2te CPU wird nicht mehr erkannt.

Könnte mir bitte jemand sein grub configuration file raufladen welches 
alle CPUs erkennt?

Ich muss leider nächste Woche ein paar Abgaben machen und dafür brauche 
ich unbedingt meinen Laptop, nur der ist soooooo langsam, seitdem ich 
linux neu installiert habe.

Ich weiß nicht wieso mir cpu info nur einen Kern anzeigt, aber das ist 
nicht normal.

Welchen kernel hast du denn ausgewählt (genaue bezeichnung)?

Damals lag es daran, dass noapic nicht vorhanden war. Dann habe ich es 
dazugeschrieben und cpu info hat mir dann immer 2 Kerne angezeigt.

Nicht einmal das Internet funktioniert richtig. Es dauert 5 Minuten bis 
ich auf die Seite komme, manchmal auch nur 10 Sekunden, aber meistens 5 
Minuten. Da kann etwas nicht stimmen. Also wenn ich ins Internet via 
Handy Hotspot reingehe dann ist das internet Ok, aber über WLAN Router, 
boahhh! Verdammt, wieso habe ich nur Linux neu installiert...

merkwürdig, in der doku steht nur etwa das es das IRQ verhalten damit 
ändert.

selber habe ich es noch nie festgestellt, das damit nur eine CPU erkannt 
wird. Hast du eventuell im BIOS etwas umgestellt?

das liegt dann aber nicht an der fehlenden CPU. Dir wird der Treiber für 
die Grafigkarte fehlen.

Ich kann mein Bios seit etwa 1 Jahr nicht starten weil ich nicht mehr 
weiß wie, und ich alle F Tasten schon ausprobiert habe. Also nein.

ich habe versucht den empfohlenen Treiber zu installieren, aber ich 
bekomme einen Fehler, dswegen habe ich es ohne versucht

und warum wunderst du dich dann das der Rechner langsam ist?

Weil ich bevor ich es installiert habe ich es per USB ausprobiert habe 
und da ging es sehr flott, ich konnte sogar mehrere Programme öffnen und 
nebenbei surfen. Deswegen wundert es mich schon

Habe jetzt den Grafiktreiber installiert und das Internet geht immer 
noch nicht. Aber macht nichts. Ich möchte eigentlich nur, dass alle 
Prozessoren erkannt werden, denn sonst ist das Ubuntu zu schmeißen. Aber 
ich weiß leider nicht wie ich das mache. So einen Fall wie meinen gab es 
noch nicht.

Kann mir vielleicht wer helfen?

Erst einmal unterscheiden, wo sich die Suche lohnt. Werden die CPUs von 
einem Live-Linux (CD/DVD) erkannt? Wenn nicht, dann geht die Suche beim 
Rechner und dem BIOS weiter.

Dazu gibt es eine Protokolldatei /var/log/dmesg.

Abgesehen davon: Wenn der Rechner mit der Live CD (oder Stick) gut 
läuft, dann könnte es an der Kernel Version liegen. Du kannst alle 
verfügbaren Kernel Versionen hier downloaden: 
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/

und mit dpkg -i installieren. In der Regel brauchst Du nur die 
linux-image...amd64.deb zu installieren.

Bei den älteren Versionen hast Du noch die Wahl zwischen PAE oder ohne 
PAE. Neuer Versionen werden nur noch mit PAE bereit gestellt, was man am 
Paketnamen nicht erkennen kann.

PAE ermöglicht, bei 4GB oder mehr RAM den ganzen Speicher trotz 32bit zu 
nutzen - sofern der Rechner die dazu nötige Hardwareunterstützung hat.

Danke, das hat aber nicht funktioniert. Ich habe Ubuntu 12.04 
installiert, und neu acpi=off und quietsplash eingetragen und es 
funktioniert und der Rechner läuft super!!

Nur noch das WLAN Internet ist wirklich schlecht, Manchmal zeigt er auch 
an Seite konnte nicht angezeigt werden, manchmal aber schon.
Ich arbeite gerade mit tethering und da gehts prima, jedoch mit router 
überhaupt nicht.

An was könnte das liegen?

Typisches Ubuntu Problem... Wenn Linux die CPU nicht findet ist Grub 
schuld? ;-)

Zu deinem WLAN Problem:
1. Schonmal mit Kabel probiert? Tritt da das Problem auch auf? => 
Router/Anbieter Schuld
2. sonst: Ping mal deinen Router. Wieviel % Paketverlust, welche 
Pingzeit? Setz dich mal DIREKT daneben und mal weiter weg
3. evtl. passt der Treiber nicht. Versuch mal nen anderen Kernel bzw. 
google danach ob es so ein Problem gibt

Hatte grad ein paar Varianten ausprobiert, aktuelles Linux Mint.

- Atheros 5K 54Mb intern: Funktioniert. Will aber schneller können als 
die 2,5MB/s.

- Realtek 8192cu 300Mb USB (WNA3100-100PES): Netz wird erkannt, Login 
geht, Traffic aber nicht. Funktioniert in Windows, aber miserabler 
Durchsatz von 5MB/s weil Atom-Prozessor am Anschlag.

- Atheros 9K 150Mb USB (WNA1100-100PES): Funktioniert astrein, doppelter 
Durchsatz (9MB/s) wie der Realtek unter Windows, Prozessor nicht 
ausgelastet. Merke: 150Mb/s ist u.U. schneller als 300Mb/s.
