goflex net, nand teilweise defekt u-boot

Hallo,
zum Glück funktioniert noch das Gerät ;)
Ich kann auch mit teilweise beschädigtem mtd0 im nand, wo ja u-boot 
liegt , trotzdem noch das debian System starten.

Meine Frage:
Könnte ich den nand Speicher neu aufteilen?
Ich wollte den u-boot Bootloader bei einem anderen Adressbereich im nand 
installieren.
Ist es möglich und was muss ich hierbei beachten?


Mehr als den u-boot Bootloader benötige ich bei diesem Gerät momentan 
nicht, da ich ja entweder das Debian vom usb Stick oder sata Festplatte 
starte.

Die Kernel und ramdisk wird ja dann vom usb Stick geladen.

Sieht überhaupt nicht gut aus, ein Wunder dass das Gerät überhaupt noch 
funktioniert.
