Soll 3gpp von Youtube Video Formaten verschwinden?

Normalerweise lade ich mir von Youtube sparsame Formate, wenn ich mit 
mobilem SIM Internet online bin.
D.h. die 3pgg formate, bei youtube-dl: -f 17 oder -f 36

Heute habe ich festgestellt, dass es die bei einem normalen Video gar 
nicht mehr gibt???!!!

Die sparsamen Formate gibt es nur als Audio oder Video only.
Was soll das?
Soll man die mit ffmpeg selber zusammen fügen?

Ist das nicht so ein 90er Jahre Klapphandy-Format, damals aus der Zeit 
als man noch verpixelte verrauschte Kameras in Viertel-SD Auflösung für 
den letzten Schrei hielt? Und das alte Format soll sparsamer sein als 
aktuelle Videoformate und Codecs?

youtube-dl -f 123+456 ... will do the trick.

Das ist doch heute gar kein problem mehr??
Ich bezahle bisschen mehr wie 10,- und habe 3GB..das hat für das o.g 
total gereicht

Klar, bei dem Mini-Video hat das für mich auch locker gereicht, webm 
-f=43 waren 55MB.
Es geht um lange Videos >= 2h

$ youtube-dl -f 133+250 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12345678
$ ffmpeg -i *f133.mp4 -i *f250.webm -c copy output.mkv

das ganze funktioniert tadellos, und man hat wieder die üblichen kleinen 
Formate.
Einen Vorteil könnte man nennen: Audio-Qualität und Video-Qualität 
lassen sich beliebig kombinieren.

Wie machen es die Video-Player auf kleinen Smartphone, wenn kein 
geeignetes kleines Format (A+V) zur Verfügung steht.

3gpp war ja gedacht als Video-Format für kleine Displays (mobile 
Geräte).

Den zweiten Schritt kann youtube-dl auch selber ausführen,
   --merge-output-format mkv

dann läd es die Audio- und Videostreams getrennt herunter, mux'ed sie 
als mkv zusammen (im Prinzip exakt wie dein ffmpeg-aufruf) und räumt die 
temporären Dateien hinterher auf (ausser "-k" ist gesetzt)
