hello! I have one psu (meanwell RSP2000-48) and she stop working! when i connect the 220v ac on input ac connectors she start up, the blower work, and in normal situation the red led turn on from 1 second then passing from green stage, that mean the 48 volts are out. In this case the red led still on all the time and don´t change from green! Actually the psu have inside the 12 volts service voltage, but i don´t have the 48 volts output! I not see any burn component inside! Any ideia what can be! i try find some squematic about this psu ,but i not find nothing! Any body can help? thank you very mutch! regards! peter
Did the device work bevor some event? What happended? Try to start the power supply with a load, e.g. a light bulb. Some power supplies cannot start without load. Have you tried to detach the external on/off control wires? Do the 5V and 12V auxiliary outputs work properly? Are you sure that you did not overload them? Did you connect the remote-sense lines as shown in the datasheet page 4? https://cdn-reichelt.de/documents/datenblatt/D400/RSP_2000_XX.pdf
hello everybody! thank everbody one more time for answer the topic message! The psu work before on one fm power transmitter! She stop work sudently (don´t gave 48 volts),but the interesting thing is that it turns on and the blowers working but it doesn't give the 48 volts! normally when she start the led on psu start red and pass later from green, that mean the psu on output gave 48 volts. Actually she start up , the red led are on but not pass for green! any sugestions?? anybody had the same problem before?? regards peter

Only the main output seems to be broken. > any sugestions?? answer my questions. I did not ask them just for fun. I like to ensure that the device is connected and loaded properly, otherwise it cannot work. Also tell us how much electronik know-how and what measurement equipment you have available. If it turns out, that the device is really broken, you need someone who has a lot of experience with switching power supplies. This size is not a toy - it is very dangerous.
Maby RSP1000 is similar. There is service information available. https://elektrotanya.com/meanwell_rsp_1000.pdf/download.html Also RSP2000 block diagram is available which might help. Thomas
Hello everybody! Thank you one more time for your help! The only thing i need is the electrical squematic from this PSU, because wihtout him , i think is very difficult try repair him! I repair another PSU before , but with a electrical squematic, but repair this psu without electrical squematic is a adventure! i only came here because because I thought someone had the same problem as mine before and could give your suggestion! about the electrical squematic(Sr thomas W thank you very mutch for your help)i think the basic structure are the same, but even this electrical squematic when i apply zoom i cant see the components description!is good to try see the structure of the psu, but have the limitation i describe before! I contact the meanwell, but nobody repond me!(as I thought) like i said before , the psu start up, i not connect any load on V+ terminal, and i dont have 48 volts...the blowers working, like Stefanus F said because they use the 12 volts of the auxiliary , but 48... nothing! Any sugestion???
Try measuring according to the information in the schematic. It is fully readable once you download it. (Not the preview!) Do not try to attempt repair if you are not aware of the possibly lethal dangers inside this power supply !
