USB-TRIM mit IS621-Chip

Hallo,
ich habe hier einen billigen USB-SATA-Kontroller in einem USB-Gehäuse, 
welcher mit IS621 bestückt ist.

Laut Webseite kann der Chip "Support ATA pass through command set", was 
sich für mich so anhört, als wäre es möglich, TRIM für SSDs auszuführen.
Kann das jemand bestätigen? Hat es schon mal jemand mit dem Chip 
ausprobiert?

I bought a cheap device using this chip from Amazon, and from Linux 
5.18.12 / fstrim 2.38 it doesn't seem to work - "the discard operation 
is not supported". Disappointing.

Meanwhile I've read that in some cases it is necessary to tell Linux 
that some Chips are able to support trim bit unfortunately I don't know 
how to do it actually.

AFAIR I've tested with an USB-Adapter with JMicron-Chip and I had to 
create an etc/udev rule and I used this thread as a guide:

It works with Linux Mint 21.3 / 5.15
