Also wie im Titel schon beschrieben würde ich mich gerne ein wenig mit dem Promotion Board von Renesas beschäftigen. Mein Problem ist nun das ich den Stick nicht ans laufen bekomme. Auf meinem anderen Rechner mit Win 7 geht es ohne Probleme. Mein Problem ist das der Stick nach dem einstecken nicht erkannt wird. Die FTDI Treiber sind aber soweit ich das sehen kann installiert unter Linux. Desweitern würde ich gerne die KPIT IDE verwenden (IAR Embedded Workbench gibt es nicht für Linux). Da ich aber bisher den Download Login noch nicht bekommen habe weiß ich noch gar nicht ob die IDE den Stick unterstüzt. Hat es jemand bisher geschafft? Normalerweise beschäftige ich mich mit PIC's aber ich habe leider keinen so schön kleinen Stick für unterwegs wie den V850 Stick. Gibt es sonst eine alternative die so schön überall läuft wie die MPLAB X nur halt für den V850 Stick?

Vielleicht sollte ich zu aller erst noch erwähnen das ich Linux Neuling bin. Bin erst vor ca. 2,5 Wochen von Mac OSX zu Fedora umgestiegen da es mich ange***** hat das die ganze Software die ich für ein E-Technik Studium brauche bzw. die benutzt wird meist für Windows und Linux aber nicht für Mac verfügbar ist.... (PSpice usw...(zumindest die die benutzt wird)). Außerdem bastel ich gern ;) und das kann man leider bei OSX weniger... Außer bei Wechseldatenträgern macht es bei Linux nie 'flupp' (entsprechend konfigurierte Desktop-Umgebung vorausgesetzt). Erkannt wurde das USB-Gerät sehrwohl. Nun kann man z.B. die IDE drauf zugreifen.
